Día de los Muertos - Ancestral Ceremony

  • Penn Forest Natural Burial Park 121 Colorado Street Verona, PA, 15147 United States (map)

Join us for a sacred evening of remembrance, celebration, and connection as we honor the ancestors.

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is an ancient Mexican tradition that honors the eternal bond between the living and the departed. It is a time to celebrate life, remember our loved ones, and give thanks for the paths they opened before us.

Held in the peaceful setting of sacred burial grounds - where spirit and Earth meet - this ceremony invites us to open our hearts and connect deeply with the unseen.

The Ceremony Includes:

✨ Opening Invocation and Sacred Songs in Spanish (translations available) - opens the pathway for the ancestors

✨ Cacao Ritual - an ancient Mayan tradition that opens the heart, grounds the body, and helps us release with gratitude

✨ Ancestral Altar - for offerings of fruit, flowers, photos, and more

✨ Ecstatic Dance - a free-form dance practice to release emotions, connect with the body, and celebrate life as a way to honor our ancestors

✨ Sound Bath & Closing Meditation - to integrate and ground our energy

Tickets are $45 per person and available for purchase here.

This is a family-friendly event! Children under 12 are free to join.

Hosted by Jacqueline Lee Breda, a shamanic healer and nutrition guide devoted to helping others reconnect with their bodies, Spirit, and the heart. Through ancient wisdom and intuitive healing, Jacqueline creates spaces for remembrance, release, and renewal. Her work bridges the physical and spiritual, guiding others back to wholeness, joy, and the wisdom of the heart.

The event will be co-hosted by Jessica Rosario, a vocalist, DJ, producer, and sound healing practitioner. Jessica uses her passion for music as a tool for transformation. With a background in somatics and vibrational wellness, she blends voice, movement, and globally inspired textures to help people reconnect with their bodies and minds.

As a DJ and producer, Jessica blends sultry downtempo, Latin rhythms, tribal house, and organic textures, often weaving in her own vocals to create immersive sets that move both body and spirit, taking you into a dream world that can only be reached through the introspection of self-realization and the global flavors of her music philosophy.

As the founder of Sound Body Wellness and Retreats, she offers sound baths, ecstatic dance workshops, and immersive music retreats that guide people into alignment with themselves, their communities, and their greater purpose.
