Price List & Details
We understand the importance of transparency when making financial decisions, and we want you and your loved ones to feel confident in knowing what to expect when planning a burial.
Like most cemeteries, Penn Forest requires two types of payments: Burial Rights and Interment Fees.
Below is our pricing structure for Burial Rights, Interment Fees and any other additional fees that may be included in planning a burial.
Burial Rights
A Burial Right is purchasing the right to be buried in a lot at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park. Buying a lot in a cemetery is not the same as buying land, although there are similarities. When you buy a lot, you don’t own the land; you only own the right to be buried in that lot.
Note:
For a burial of cremated remains along with a body burial there is a maximum of two cremated remains additons.
For those who need financial assistance with Burial Rights, we offer monthly payment plans ranging from one to three years.
Please note that all Burial Rights must be paid in full before the burial.

Interment Fees
When someone is buried at Penn Forest, we charge interment fees. This covers the cost of the grave layout, opening and closing of the grave, chairs and tents for graveside service, land maintenance, record keeping, memorial page, and cemetery operating costs. Interment fees may fluctuate over time and cannot be prepaid before death.
Note:
These prices do not include fees for after-hours burials or holiday fees for burials on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Burials cannot be scheduled on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or after 12:00 noon on Christmas Eve.
All fees are subject to our published terms and conditions of sale.
