In loving memory…

At Penn Forest, we hold deep reverence for all those laid to rest on this land. Each burial represents a life lived, a memory cherished, and a bond that continues beyond death. Their presence lives on in the trees, the wildflowers, and the embrace of the forest.

We invite you to search for loved ones buried at Penn Forest using our Grave Locater and Burials from the Past Year. Whether you’re looking to visit a specific grave or simply wish to share a memory, this tool provides an opportunity to connect.

Grave Locater

Gravestone with flowers surrounding it, dedicated to Pete, with dates 10-22-1944 to 1-8-2022, and inscriptions reading 'Pun Lover, Tree Hugger, Friend to All'.

To begin, enter either the first or last name of the person you're searching for and click Submit. You’ll see their name, date of death, and grave location.

Click on their name to access their profile where you can:

  • Share a memory or tribute

  • Add an obituary, military history, photo, or video

  • Forward the memorial to family and friends

  • View submitted photos and stories

Once reviewed and approved by the family, your contributions will be available in perpetuity on the Penn Forest website—helping preserve the legacy of those we love.

To view the grave location on a map, click “Get Location Directions” in the lower left corner. This will open a satellite map of Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, with the grave marked by a red pin.
