Happy Fall Everyone!

The 2026 flower garden season is nearing the end, and our garden has gifted us with quite the abundance of flowers, herbs, and even berries this year! Gardener Sam invites the Penn Forest Community to join her for one final day in the garden as we prepare the space for winter.  

Join us on October 31st to help tuck the garden in for the colder months! We will focus on weeding the beds, adding compost, and covering the beds to protect them through the winter. Volunteers are welcome to harvest any remaining blooms and herbs to take home. If you are feeling spooky, feel free to wear a costume!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared their time, knowledge, and guidance throughout the year. Thanks to you, the garden really flourished.

• In the case of severe weather, the event will be rescheduled.
